In the first part of this episode we'll learn how to transform some nouns into adjectives by adding suffixes (which will certainly help you enrich your vocabulary); well share with you some interesting facts of some of the most visited cities around the world, as well as the recommendation of some landmarks; our idiom dose of the episode will be packed with expressions related to cities, as well as the songs recommended for this week; we'll have lots of fun with our city word tango; and in the end of our show we'll check how much people at Los Libertadores University know about some international cities.

ReplyDeleteI would like visit the city of love is to say Paris because is a wonderful place i expect find peace, love, and new sensations for me and my husband also i would like know the history of the paris because is a magical place and has several mystery stories.
What destination would you recommend other people who visit your country, and why?
I would recommend to the tourists that visit Cartagena because is the main cultural center of Colombia also has most typical restaurants and the wonderful view of the sea since wall.
Do you prefer to live in big or small cities, and why?
i prefer live in a big city because more places to visit, and more opportunities both housing and studing and there is much diversity cultural.
What positive and negative aspects do you find in the city / village where you currently live?
positive aspects:
* this city had milticultural things for every person
* there are most important companys
* had a lot off restaurants and very interesting places to visit
Negative aspects
* the public transport is very bad
* is a dangerous city
* the gobermet is corrupt and thief the town.

ReplyDelete2. I would recommend to the tourists that visit Manizales city but in special Salento that is a town that is in this same city. it is a very welcoming place with friendly people and delicious food.
3. I prefer to live in a big city as there are more places to visit there is a diversity of cultures and more oppotunities to have a very good life either work or study.

ReplyDeleteNew York is a city that always wanted to know. On the other hand in New york i have know the locations where it was recorded some of my favorites series, like: Friends, Gossip Gilr, Sex and the city.
2. I would recommend to the tourist visit Caño cristales in La Macarena because is the most beatiful river in the world.
Caño Cristales has aquatic plants in its rocky bed, the river has characteristic red color
3. I prefer live in a big city because it is where most important places like universities, schools and in the big cities there are more job opportunities.
4. Positive: Bogotá is a beatiful city, there are diferent and diviersitu culture, had a lot musseums and interesing places for visit.
Negative: don´t have civic culture, the public transport is very bad and cost.
1) I would like to visit Sydney because it is beautiful. It is surrounded by national parks that contain bays and rivers. Sydney is one of the most multicultural cities in the world and it's interesting for its quality of life.

I would recommend the tourist visit to cartagena de indias, because is a patriot city and you can get to know the walls of cartagena, the the castle of San Felipe, clock tower, the monument to India catalina, convent of la popa, etc.
3) I like and prefer live in the big city because it has many buildings, shopping centers, universities and tourist parks.
4) positive: Is a big city, there are shops and amusement parks. It also there are museums and many cinemas. There are many opportunities.
negative: There is a lot of traffic.

1.I'd like to visit Firenze, the capitol city of italian Renaissance. I might find the main masterpieces of the great italian artists there, like Michelangelo's David.
ReplyDelete2.Guajira to visitors who come on holiday to our country I'd definitely recommend la Guajira because of it's amazing beachside with snow-white sand and clear water and the variety of free time activities it offers. La Guajira also may give the chance to get a taste of typical local also as typical colombian cousine. The most fascinating about la Guajira are surely the people, all of them friendly and really kind.
3.I do prefer the small-town-life because it's tranquility is much saver for body and mind than big-cities stressfully, anxious and frenetic life.
4.about bogota, the city a live in at the moment, I like the people because you get to know a lot of them. my neighborhood is quite friendly, we all know each other and ar pretty united. what I don't like so much is the high rate of robberies nearly in the whole citya and living near the airport because of the acoustic pollution, you never really get used to it.
